“I had considered a boudoir shoot for many years, but, as many other women do, I kept telling myself “I want to loose weight first, I want to feel more confident first, I want to change this or that, etc”. I kept making excuses to not do it. Then I saw an add from Brin and I felt an immediate pull to just do it. So I reached out to Brin and everything fell into place as it needed to. When I was on my way to get my hair and makeup done, I was so anxious and nervous. That quickly went away as soon as I stepped into the appointment. Getting my hair and makeup done was such a good experience. I felt so calm yet hyped up through the whole process. Once I got to the studio, I told myself being nervous and shy is only going to hold me back from getting even more amazing photos. I was so worried going into the photoshoot about how to hide the parts of my body I am not in love with, but it didn’t matter anymore as soon as I walked in the studio. I felt so comfortable, really enjoyed the photoshoot, and was absolutely amazed by the process. Then I had some ideas I wanted to incorporate, Brin heard me and went with it, and they turned out even better than I had envisioned. I literally felt like some of these photos should be on a magazine cover. My real smile is something I have hated for many years. I often hide it when I’m laughing and never take photos with a real smile. Then you come along and get MULTIPLE photos of me with a real open mouth smile and they ended up being some of my favorite photos. In the end, I bought way more photos than I had intended to because there were so many I absolutely loved. I left the studio feeling like I was on a high.
