“I’m too fat.” “Maybe after I lose 10 pounds.” “I’m too old.”
If you’ve ever had those thoughts… you’re not alone. In fact, almost every woman who walks through my doors has said some version of them. This story is for the woman who’s been waiting—for the “right” weight, the “right” time, the “right” version of herself. Because what happens when you stop waiting and choose yourself as you are right now? This client did exactly that—and what she found on the other side might just change the way you see yourself, too.

““I’m too fat”
“Maybe after I lose 10 pounds”
“I’m too old”
“No one wants to see me half naked”
“I’m not beautiful enough”
“I’ll be so uncomfortable”

These are all thoughts I had for years about boudoir and the reason I held off trying it till recently. But I decided to quiet those voices and choose myself. I chose myself, as I am now, post child birth, after my anxiety and depression diagnosis, with my body having more “imperfections” and my mind having less confidence than ever before. I chose to try and change my thoughts about my body, I chose to try and love myself for once, inside and out.

So I showed up for myself, I booked a boudoir session with be Photography, and I am SO happy I did. Brin made me feel confident, beautiful and strong. I trusted her completely. And when I saw my photos, that confidence showed and I saw that I am beautiful, just as I am right at this moment. I saw a woman I am proud to be and a woman I love, imperfections and all.

So stop waiting. Stop telling yourself you aren’t worth it. Be daring. Get out of your comfort zone, so you can prove to yourself you’re worth it at any weight, at any age, at any confidence level. Your body is worth celebrating today, just as you are. ♥️”

Stories like this are why I do what I do. Because this experience isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about finally seeing the woman you already are. If this resonated with you, take a moment to read more real client experiences here: https://be-photography-boudoir.ca/category/testimonial/
And if something in you is saying “maybe this is for me”… listen to that. When you’re ready, I’d love to guide you through your own boudoir experience.
