Hair and Makeup:

We are dedicated to ensuring an exceptional boudoir experience, which is why we carefully select top-tier makeup artists to enhance your session. Your makeup and hair style are entirely customizable, allowing you to choose a look that resonates with your personal preferences and aligns with your desired aesthetic. We encourage you to bring examples of makeup and hair inspirations that speak to you, enabling us to capture the look you envision for yourself.

On the day of your shoot, we kindly request that you arrive with a fresh, clean face moisturized to provide the perfect canvas for makeup application. Additionally, please ensure your hair is clean and thoroughly dried, allowing us to create stunning hairstyles that complement your overall look.

Brow Grooming and Facial Hair Removal:

Please have your brows groomed–either tweezed, waxed or threaded–1-5 days beforehand (depending on how sensitive your skin is). Having cleaned-up brows will make a world of difference in how your eyes and whole face will look! Remove any other unwanted hair beforehand, too. It makes a difference for how the makeup will lay on the face and blend into the skin.

Exfoliation: Face and Lips!

Either the night before or the morning of (or both, if your skin is used to it/can handle it), exfoliate your face. You can do this with just a washcloth and cleanser, or you can use a gentle scrub. Don’t rub too hard! Focus on the nose–dead skin cells tend to gather in those crevices. Use a sugar-and-oil scrub or even your toothbrush on your lips to get rid of dead, chapped, flakey skin on your lips for a flawless lip colour application!

Moisture and Hydration:

Hydrated skin is key to achieving a glowing and radiant look. Make sure to moisturize the night before and the morning of your shoot. Additionally, drink plenty of water leading up to your session to keep your skin plump and youthful.

Hair Preparation:

Arrive with clean and dry hair, worn down, and without any marks or dents from being tied up. You can apply mousse, gel, or texturizing products while your hair is damp to add volume and texture. Avoid straightening your hair if you’re aiming for soft waves or curls, as previously straightened hair can make it more challenging to achieve the desired style.

Stretching Before your Session:

As we guide your body into unique poses during the boudoir session, it’s important to note that it can be physically engaging. To prepare your muscles and enhance flexibility, we recommend incorporating some stretching exercises before your session. Taking a few moments for gentle stretches will help ensure your body feels comfortable and ready to embrace the artistic movements involved in capturing your stunning boudoir images.

Choose Clothing That Makes You Comfortable:

Prioritize your personal comfort and confidence when selecting lingerie and clothing for your session. Wear garments that make you feel incredible, reflecting your unique style and personality. Opt for Loose Clothing and Ditch the Bra:

To avoid unwanted lines on your skin, it’s best to wear loose-fitting attire to your session. Leave your bras and panties behind, as clothing lines can persist throughout the shoot. Instead, opt for comfortable and baggy clothing that can be easily removed without affecting your hair or makeup.

Hydrate and Nourish:

Leading up to your session, make hydration a priority by drinking plenty of water. This will enhance your skin’s natural radiance and keep you feeling refreshed. Additionally, maintain a balanced diet, nourishing your body with wholesome foods to provide the energy you need to feel vibrant and confident.

Avoid Spray Tanning and Alcohol:

Refrain from spray tanning within 24 hours before your session to prevent colour transfer on the studio furniture. It’s also important to avoid consuming alcohol before or during your shoot, as it can impact your focus and clarity of mind.
