There are some testimonials that explain exactly why I believe so deeply in what I do. Boudoir is about beautiful photographs, yes — but sometimes those photographs become a way of seeing yourself differently. Especially during a season of change, healing, or rediscovering who you are outside of the roles and relationships that have defined you.
This client came into the studio while navigating a huge transition in her life. She was nervous, unsure of her body, and stepping outside of her comfort zone. What happened when she saw her photographs is something I wish every woman could experience.

Finding My Confidence
Leaving a long-term relationship and stepping into a healing journey has taught me so much about myself. I’ve been learning how to find the parts of me that I lost along the way, and how to finally do the things I’ve always wanted to do — even when they scare me.
This photo shoot was one of those things.
I was nervous. Honestly, I didn’t feel confident in my body or in the way I looked. Even though people have always told me I’m beautiful, it’s been hard for me to truly believe it when I look at myself.
But then I saw the pictures.

I was completely blown away. I stared at them thinking, Is that really me? I got emotional. I felt proud. I felt beautiful. And for once, I was able to see myself through a different lens — not through all the insecurities and doubts I’ve carried for so long, but through the eyes of someone who could actually see my beauty.
I couldn’t even choose my pictures because I loved so many of them. And honestly, that feeling was priceless.
This experience gave me something I didn’t realize I needed: confidence.
It made me wonder… Is this how other people see me? Is this how people have been seeing me all along, while I’ve been seeing someone completely different when I look in the mirror?

Maybe healing isn’t about becoming a new person. Maybe it’s about finally seeing the person who was there all along.
I’m still finding my confidence. I’m still learning to love my body, my face, my imperfections, and every part of the woman I am becoming.
But this time, I’m not hiding.
I’m choosing myself. I’m trying new things. I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone. And I’m learning to see myself the way others see me — beautiful, worthy, strong, and confident.
This photo shoot wasn’t just about taking pictures.
It was about seeing me. ❤️

That last line says everything.
Sometimes we spend so much of our lives seeing ourselves through insecurity, comparison, heartbreak, or the expectations placed on us that we don’t realize how distorted that view has become.
A boudoir session isn’t about becoming someone different for the camera. It’s about giving yourself the opportunity to see the woman who is already there.
You don’t have to wait until you’re completely healed. You don’t have to wait until you love your body. And you definitely don’t have to wait until you feel confident enough.
Sometimes you do the scary thing first.
And maybe, somewhere along the way, you start seeing yourself differently too. ❤️
