Sometimes the women who are the MOST nervous are the ones who surprise themselves the most.

This client almost cancelled before she ever walked through my studio doors. She was nervous about the unknown, nervous about being vulnerable, and genuinely couldn’t imagine how she was going to relax in front of a stranger with a camera.

And then she walked in.

This is exactly why I tell women: you don’t have to feel confident enough to do this. You don’t even have to feel ready. Sometimes you just have to show up and give yourself the chance to see what happens.

The drive out to the studio by myself was a treat in itself without the noise of children arguing in the backseat (although I was still nervous and panicking the whole way).

When I arrived and was welcomed into the studio by Brin, my fear and nervousness immediately went away. I forgot that I was a mother and a wife. I was just… ME! It was actually quite weird. I felt like a whole different person and immediately set my things down and was ready to rock it. It all seems like a blur when I think back.

Brin made me feel like I had known her for years! I wasn’t afraid or embarrassed to ask any questions and felt extremely comfortable with her. I think that by my second outfit change, I was walking around that room with my lady bits out and I didn’t even care! The pictures turned out amazing. I couldn’t point out any of my own flaws even if I tried!

If you’re considering doing a session, do it! It is definitely a commitment financially but extremely worth it! They are pictures that you will have to forever remind you of how sexy that you are and how beautiful that you are inside and out! Your partner will love them too ;)”

Because THAT is what this experience is about.

For a few hours, nobody needs anything from you. You’re not taking care of the kids, worrying about your partner, running through your to-do list or being everything for everyone else.

You get to just be a woman.

And somewhere between the nerves, the outfit changes, the laughing, and apparently walking around my studio without a care in the world, you start seeing yourself differently.

Not because I turned you into someone else.

Because I gave you the space to see the woman who was already there.

And I freaking love that.
